Ham Common with Forest School
We went to see the Swans on Ham common Pond with My forest school class.
Once the eggs are laid they are incubated for approximately 42 days or 6 weeks. The swans laid 6 eggs and 4 hatched. The chicks are 7 days old in the photo. Other inhabitant of the pond were Mallard ducks, Moorhens and Coots. The moorhens and coots are similar however the Coots have white beaks and the Moorhens have red beaks.
